Pensioners to receive automatic pension credit, without the need to apply for it
Currently in the UK, there is 1 million pensioners who are not getting a full pension, because the government does not care, in full.
Please automatically provide pensioners with Pension Credit. Would appreciate in certain, if you top us up automatically.
The reason why people are not receiving, is lack of knowledge. This is not an excuse not to care for the elderly.
Pension Credit tops up:
• your weekly income to £201.05 if you’re single
• your joint weekly income to £306.85 if you have a partner

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you are concerned about people missing out on Pension Credit, but it's not clear how the Government could pay Pension Credit automatically, as entitlement to Pension Credit depends on an individual's financial circumstances, which the Government may not have full details of before an application is made.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
