Thank you for your petition. We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for. Rules of the game of football and arrangements for refereeing are for bodies outside of the Government.

The Government has committed to introducing a statutory regulator for football governance, which will have powers in relation to the financial sustainability of football clubs.
