Give Knighthood to Alan Bates
What a delicious irony it would be to give Alan Bates the now spare CBE - instead of putting it back into the cupboard. Or perhaps a Kighthood!
Alan Bates has worked doggedly for free on behalf of hundreds of innocent victims - against the juggernaught that is The Post Office. A real David & Goliath story if ever there was.
If the CBE gets lost in the post going back, then perhaps consider giving Mr Alan Bates a much deserved knighthood.
He is one person who has earned it.
