This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

If you are unhappy with how the police have handled a specific case, you could complain about this. You can find out how to complain about the police here: www.policeconduct.gov.uk/complaints/submit-a-complaint

If you are concerned about the response of your local police force to bicycle theft, you could raise your concerns with your local Police and Crime Commissioner, who oversees policing in your area. You can find contact details for your local Police and Crime Commissioner here: www.apccs.police.uk/find-your-pcc/
