Petition Details

To ensure staff and service user safety, body cams should be mandatory and provided by the local authorities to safeguard individuals using the care service as well as staff.

Additional Information

This will help ensure any allegations made can be appropriately dealt with ensuring fair and appropriate treatments and outcomes across all sectors. Often service users mental health are used to cover deceit and boundaries crossed. For staff, when something has been reported to the SSSC staff will only ever have "Not proven" against their records even if the allegations were not true.
