Introduce a Magna Carta Day public holiday for England on 15 June

Petition Details

Institute a new national holiday for England. This should be a bank holiday, and would be on 15th June, the day in 1215 when Magna Carta was signed, which was a giant step towards English democracy.

Additional Information

My suggestion is to have a public holiday on 15th June for Magna Carta Day. It's not a patron saint's day, so it's not religious, it's properly English, is important to our democracy, and has influenced other countries in one way or another, and it's in the summer!
