Petition Action

100% Inheritance Tax

Additional Information

To stop people hoarding wealth and passing it on to successors unfairly, we advocate a 100% Inheritance tax to limit the role of privilege and stop people benefitting from greed.

There will be reasonable exceptions to allow the passing on of hard enarned property and resources but there is an objective test to prevent unfairness.

The remaining estate that is taxed is redistributed for the well being of the whole community rather than going in to the State coffers awaiting redistribution.

This will increase equity and growth but will ensure that those left behind by a love one's passing are looked after appropriately and the whole of the community will receive some benefit.
