18 - 25 Car Insurance to be capped at £1000 or Regulations to cap prices.
Supposedly our government is against discrimination, but when it comes to car insurance young people get bombarded with costs and bills for the car. Insurance being the most ridiculous. So please make some kind of monitoring system or a governing body for this issue.
I am paying £1400 a year for a 16 year old Vauxhall Astra that costed £900. In what world is this acceptable? All young people driving are having to pay this.
Example:The average price for someone in their 30's is just over £400, which is reasonable. Then someone in their 50's is just over £200. But when you look at an 18-25 year old it is nearly £1300. I do understand that experience is very important in this issue, but paying well over £1000 a year to be able to get to work every day is a joke

You could start a petition asking for tighter regulation of car insurance costs, or asking the Government to work with insurance companies to lower the costs.
