Abolish all taxes except income, capital gains tax, and punitive tax on recreational drugs.

Non income based taxation can exceed total income and does not take into account ability to pay.
As entitlement to services is universal and funded out of treasury funds, charging everyone the same based solely on income is a fairer system.
Total tax take will remain the same, but most people will experience a dramatic cut in taxes, particularly at the poorer end which will lift most homes out of poverty overnight.
Eliminating tax on fuel will immediately make the UK economy 30% more efficient boosting exports.
Punitive taxes on recreational drugs such as tobacco and alcohol are designed to reduce use, and have little, if any, impact on the economy, and should remain.
The simplicity of this system makes it different than the individual petitions regaining individual taxes.
