All energy bills should contain a single conversion factor to convert the metered amount to cost of energy supplied.

Additional Information

Look at your gas bill. It has multiple factors applied to the reading to alter it to a charge per Kilowatt. It is extraordinarily hard to understand, and we need information about what we are going to be charged, to budget, use energy wisely, and provide encouragement to cut down.
Energy companies like to mystify consumers. ( So does much of commerce)
As consumers, we want truth. We should be able to look at the meter and calculate easily what we've spent. Could you do this now?
