Petition Action

Ban ALL single use plastics in supermarkets, shops and schools.

Petition Details

Single-use plastics, are used only once before they are thrown away. These items are things like plastic bags, straws, coffee stirrers, soda and water bottles and most food packaging, which cannot be recycled.
Most schools, supermarkets and shops will use tonnes of this each year.

Additional Information

Everything comes wrapped in some form of plastic and there are hundreds of other reasonable substitutes. For example paper straws instead of plastic straws.
