Ban the Apostrophe

Additional Information

The English language has evolved.

We no longer speak in Olde English do we, who says we are currently at the summit and can no longer improve?

Apostrophes are pointless. if the rules did not exist someone please name one situation where the context of the rest of the sentence make them worth while?

This is especially relevant on social media platforms where know it alls decide to correct people with statements that they could not understand the sentence as an apostrophe was in the wrong place. Really??? You read a whole sentence and despite being oh so clever you can only work to a set of redundant rules?

People moan about the teaching standards and that more time should be spent teaching our children on the correct usage of the Apostrophe. What a complete waste of time and effort, ban their use, stop schools from failing to teach it and spend that time more wisely on something that will improve our country and the education of our children.
