Additional Information

In 2013 many unemployed women in their 50s stand to lose or fail to gain long term sickness / disability benefit. Unemployment benefit only for 12 months. Over 50s unemployment has risen 50% since 2008. Women in 50s greatest chance of redundancy from projected half a million public sector job cuts by 2015.

1) EU government has permitted France's pension age at 60.
2) Lib Dem promised not to raise pension age until 2020.
3) Pensioners contribute tens of billions of pounds in great many indirect taxes / VAT.

c) Do not tax state pension at source.

e) Protect unemployed in their 50s from loss of Council Tax Benefit.
