Car Insurance Companys to fit smart dash cameras to cars, to reduce Premiums
With increasing Car insurance premiums for millions of people in the UK for accidents and whiplash claims, I've started this petition to highlight the benefits for car insurers to install smart dash cameras.
My sister in law was involved in a car accident which wasn't her fault. Unfortunately due to no witness's she is now liable for a 50/50 claim. A £450 excess was payable due to no fault of her own and potential for increased insurance premium.
Some benefits of smart dash cams below;
- Video evidence present to assist with an insurance claim.
- Ability to record via GPS the speed at which a car was travelling, to remove the likely hood of a whiplash claim
