Petition Action

Celebratory Parades for Scientists

Additional Information

We should celebrate great scientific achievements AT LEAST as much as we do footballers/athletes.

I propose we have a ticker-tape style parade, with crowds and TV coverage, once a year, for UK based scientists that have made an amazing breakthrough/cured a disease/discovered a fundamental truth about the universe.

These people should be honoured, publicly, for helping the entire species.
