Change National Anthem to N.I.B by Black Sabbath

Additional Information

By signing this petition, you are expressing your desire for the current national anthem "God Save the Queen" (Bull, J.; 1619) to be changed to "N.I.B" (Butler, T.; Iommi, T.; Osbourne, J.; Ward, B.; 1970), specifically the version performed by contemporary rock quartet Black Sabbath featuring on the album Black Sabbath (1970). This recording is to replace "God Save the (Monarch)" for all representations of national pride and/or identity.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Not for the Government to determine what anthem should played at all these representations of national pride etc - the choice is up to the relevant cultural or sporting body.
