Petition Action

Condemn the gay 'concentration camps' in Chechnya, and debate further action.

Petition Details

I, as a gay man and British citizen, am calling on our parliament to show solidarity with the LGBT community by condemning Chechnya's authorities rounding up gay men, to torture and murder them in Concentration Camps.
I believe what action can be taken to stop this should also be debated.

Additional Information

This week, it has been widely reported by outlets such as Pink News, The Guardian and the Independent that authorities in Chechnya have rounded up at least 100 gay men, and are torturing and even killing them.

There are reports that concentration camps have been set up for these horrific crimes.

I believe it is our countries place to stand up for LGBT people and against Human Rights Abuses.
