Consecutive terms of imprisonment for murder

Additional Information

At the moment those guilty of multiple murders serve their sentences concurrently. This means that murderers are not deterred from committing multiple murders. Not only should a life sentence mean at least 20 years, in the case of multiple murders the sentences should be consecutive, i.e. when the first 20 years is finished the sentence for the second murder should start and so on.
