Petition Action

Do not conduct another EU Referendum

Petition Details

The British people, granted by a small margin, have voted in favour of exiting the European Union. Following the vote, the arguments should not be to conduct another one, only a day after, but to instead accept the result, and move on to unifying the country, not further dividing it.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
