Dredge all UK rivers
After all the recent flooding to hit the UK, isn't it about time we started to dredge all UK rivers and waterways and improve the archaic drainage systems the environment agency has neglected for decades.
The environment agency has handled the current situation abysmally and the head of the agency should resign with immediate effect and be replaced by someone who actually knows what they are doing and understands the needs of the environment rather than creating numerous wetland areas and wasting tax payers money.
