Petition Action

Extend the proposed 'personal responsibility' rules for bankers to ALL taxpayer funded employees, including elected politicians.

Additional Information

Millions of taxpayer funded employees in this country subject the taxpayer to moral hazard because when a taxpayer funded employee commits a crime which incurs a fine OR conducts his/her job in such a manner which causes a compensation order to be made (usually, these days, over the human rights of criminals or foreigners) then the responsibility for payment is merely passed on to the taxpayers. If bankers are to be responsible, through withholding of their bonuses, financially for their failures then it is also time for taxpayer funded employees to take, personally, responsibility financially for their crimes and their failures.
