Petition Action

Fireworks Sales Restrictions to General Public

Additional Information

Only allow Retailers to sell fireworks to the General Public 5 November of each year specifically to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day. Also, to ban Retailers from selling fireworks at discounted prices and offering Buy One Get One Free offers to the General Public.
This would reduce the increasing number of weeks both before and after Guy Fawkes Night of the anti-social use of fireworks by the General Public culminating in noise nuisance, injuries to Humans/Domestic Pets/Wildlife and increased costs to the NHS, Fire and Police Service.
