Fully compensate Soldiers for having to cover G4S incompetence
We the undersigned demand that Soldiers called upon to cover security at the 2012 Olympic games should be properly compensated.
Many are having their leave cancelled after serving in Afghanistan and some will lose out on family holidays, suffering financial losses too. Cancellation insurance doesn't cover all eventualities.
With transport workers being paid bonuses for doing their jobs surely those most deserving, our armed forces, should benefit too?
David Cameron recently suggested that G4S should be made to repay some of the money they received from the Government. That money should be paid to the Soldiers forced to cover G4S' incompetence.
