Give children same wages for same jobs or pay the living wage to everyone
Young people do not get cheaper living costs however they get less wages than adults however we are doing the same job. Also some adults can barely go by with the minimum wage with all their bills and children to feed. It isnt really fair.
That and the fact that the people who set the minimum wage are called the low pay commision. I am a young person and part of a group called headstart and we are starting a campaign for the same pay for the same day (that is also what we called it) and some of us find it highly unfair that we are being paid less for the same jobs.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you are concerned about the lower rates of pay that young people can receive but we aren't sure exactly what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition asking the UK Government to increase the minimum wage for all under 18s to the same level as over 18s if that is something you would like to see happen.
