Petition Action

Government funding for the Belfast Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Centre

Additional Information

The Belfast Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Centre located in 29 Donegal Street in Belfast currently receives no Government funding.

I want the government to reconsider this on the basis of the needs of the countless victims of Rape, Sexual abuse and Discrimination who without the free support and counselling offered by the Centre would have otherwise had nowhere they felt they could go.

I would urge that the government consider the funding available to countless other centres and organisations and ask themselves why this centre is any different?
