Harmonise UK and US public holidays

The government should change the dates of the UK public holidays to match those of the United States. This would benefit the economy because it would minimise the number of days on which businesses in the UK are open but closed in the US and vice versa. It would also give UK citizens more leisure time because it would result in two extra days public holiday.
