Hire Bill Bratton to head up Metropolitan Police
This petition is to force the House of Commons to properly discuss the option of hiring Bill Bratton, the police chief who presided over sharp falls in crime in New York and Los Angeles, as the head of the Metropolitan Police. Further, that the House should adopt the principle of the "broken window" philosophy (sometimes know as "zero tolerance" policing), where policing small crimes is found to reduce all crime, as a central tenet of law and order policy in the United Kingdom.
