Petition Action

Impeach and Prosecute Tony Blair

Petition Details

Tony Blair lied about his reasons for taking the UK and the defence forces to war in Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of Iraq's died, almost 200 British service personnel died, many were severely injured and suffer as a result to this day. No WMD were found. Bring him to accountability for his decisions!

Additional Information

Over 1 000 000 people marched against Blair's decision to go to war. He didn't listen. Lies and cover ups have been commonplace. The press want us to believe We The People can't make this happen. Let's show the world we can.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We cannot accept a petition calling for impeachment because this procedure is now considered obsolete. It is not therefore clear what action could be taken on this petition.
