Keep funding adult sport and youth sport development after the 2012 Olympics.
The UK has recently started funding sport which has brought results especially in swimming/cycling. Funding should continue after 2012 but make it more results based. For example an athlete may have to break 9.99 secs to gain top tier funding in 100 m athletics rather then just being the best in the UK. This would encourage more achievement and competition.
