Keep the Olympic Stadium for athletics

The London 2012 Olympics are perhaps the greatest sporting occasion in the country's history. Moreover our athletes are performing to a level beyond all expectation. In doing so they are inspiring future generations. DCMS should act to preserve the Olympic Stadium as a venue for those future generations.

Football does not need, nor deserve, another large, modern venue to half-fill. Less well-heeled sports desperately do.
