Learning Shakespeare in secondary schools

Additional Information

Although Shakespeare is a valued part of English literature I feel it has very little role in todays society. English GCSE lessons on Shakespeare do not engage children, instead they bore children and for what? A language that is barely understood by anyone of the 21st century.
I feel that we should only teach Shakespeare in Drama and pre-GCSE English as it is not a valuable part of todays world.
