Formula 1 cars have removable steering wheels and can touch speeds over 200mph with no problem to safety.Some road drivers take their battery in overnight. So why not make vehicles now and in the future with easy to remove(they don't come off whilst driving see F1) steering wheels that can be taken in to the home at night or when visiting friends or family. Think of all the bags of shopping and work bags, breifcases etc you off load in a week.Can you see potential or oppertunist car theives carrying around spare wheels that won't fit anyway.
