Make child fares available to under 18s, rather than only under 16s.
At the age of 16, you can leave school and go into employment. At this age you are payed a minimum wage of £3.87 per hour. However, bus, rail and other public transport companies charge a 16 or 17 year old an adult fare (unless they are in full time education and have a student pass).
