Make it illegal for shops to use plastic bags and use biodegradable alternatives
Like many people I have been so distressed with the recent news about global warming. Much of the time it feels hopeless but we and the government can help by making the use of plastic bags illegal, and offering a biodegradable alternative. 5p on plastic bags is meaningless and ineffectual.
