Make the use of cycle lanes mandatory

Petition Details

I believe the Mandatory use of cyclepaths would be the biggest driver for government to create a network which is safe, direct, cheaper than vehicle infrastructure, interconnect our rural villages and towns and would really act to reduce pollution, increase our health and save lives.

Additional Information

Rospa.com cycling accident report Nov 2017.
2016 102 died incl. 8 children
3397 seriously injured
14978 slightly injured
81% male
80% in day light

All these phone calls and knocks on the door of loved ones are preventable if cyclist are seperated from motor vehicles.
The economy would be boosted by the income of all those left capable of a productive life, independence for all who cannot drive including children in a safe environment and cheaper infrastructure.
