More history lessons in primary and secondary schools and focus on British history.

Additional Information

We need to engage children in Primary and Secondary schools with more history lessons, and they should be about our history.
The lessons from years 3 - 11 will focus on:

Year 3 - Alfred the Great and King Arthur.

Year 4 - The Magna Carter and it's signing, learn about King John and the Barons.

Year 5 - Learn about the 100 years war, focus on the Battle of Agincourt .

Year 6 - Learn about the Spanish Armada and how our great Navy defeated it.

Year 7 - Learn about the Protestant vs Catholic issues between the different monarchs.

Year 8 - Learn about the Napoleonic wars, focus on the battles of Trafalgar and Waterloo.

Year 9 - Learn about the British Empire, teach about abolition of the slave trade and the industrial revolution.

Year 10 - WW1, how Britain was victorious in defeating Germany.

Year 11 - WW2, how Britain was victorious in defeating the Nazi's with the aid of the Empire and the Gurkha's.
