Petition Action

Open an inquiry into the state of all mental health services!

Additional Information

We know as a country we are failing to provide mental health services to the most vulnerable and (sometimes) to the most dangerous people not only to them selves but to others. These include:
1. Bullied children and young people.
2. People with other disabilities where it can be easy to miss mental distress.
3. Prisoners or people at high risk of being in crime.
We want the government to open an inquiry into this and rexamine the mental health act 1983, the use of NICE guidelines and the way young people are transitioned into adult services.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
