Order police to allow the public to carry and display the Union Flag.
The Police are stopping people from displaying the Union Flag at public events and even evicting them from these events or the town.
The latest event where police stopped this and forced them to leave the city was the Durham Miners Gala on the 14th June 2018.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
People are already allowed to carry the Union Flag, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
The police have said that they asked this group to leave the Gala for different reasons, and not for displaying the Union Flag.
