Petition Action

Parliamentary privilege must not be used when investigating potential law breaking of the mp.

Additional Information

No member of parliament can use parliamentary privilege to hide behind when suspected illegal activities are being investigated. If documentation comes to light that can support a prosecution then those documents should be released to the DPP with no exception. Any member of either house who is convicted, not be allowed to 'retire' but be treated like the rest of the population and be sacked and removed with no financial recompense.
