Police allowed to use "All Force Necessary" in London riots

Additional Information

The disgusting riots in London have been indicative of the "damned if you do, damned if you don't" problem that police face everyday, and may be questioned for using "excess" force and brought into question later.

Police and security guards should be allowed to use "All Force Necessary" at exceptional times like this. Currently innocent citizens are losing their homes, their livelyhoods, their local community. In a civilised society this can't be acceptable to allow innocent people suffer at the hands of criminals.

Police should be allowed to use batons, tear gas, rubber bullets, water cannons, tazers, dogs, etc. whatever means necessary against these criminals without question and without disrepute later in order to protect innocent residents and businesses, and deter criminals from acting out.
