Petition Action

Protect Our Police and the Warranted Office of Constable from further cuts

Additional Information

We ask for your support a call on Prime Minister David Cameron and his Home Secretary Theresa May to put an immediate STOP to cuts to the UK Police Service and enter into proper and meaningful consultation with those that matter - Members of the Public and rank & file Police Officers

This Government has seen a significant rise in crime coupled with their drive to cut the number of Police Officers and Police Staff.

Government have then encouraged private companies such as G4S to work within the Police Service in an attempt to cut expenditure.

Impartiality of private company's working in such a role also has to be called into question!

We the Public and Police Officers and Staff need clear and evidenced based consultation URGENTLY to protect our Society from further dangerous rises in crime and the increased risk of Police Service corruption.
