Referendum on abolishing the monarchy following the death of Queen Elizabeth II

Petition Details

For centuries the UK has been ruled, directly or constitutionally, by a succession of unelected families that have passed on their rule to their descendents.

As a modern democracy, it is right to put to the British people the choice of continuing this succession or electing our head of state.
