Reject the Banking Standards Commission Report

This petitions calls upon the government to reject the Report by the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards.

The report is an appalling protectionist disaster which threatens to ruin the UK financial services sector and will result in banks and bankers moving abroad to the US, the Middle East or the Far East.

There should be no state restrictions on bank bonuses and deregulation must be the aim of the government's banking strategy.
