Petition Action

Restore adult authority over children

Additional Information

Re-establish the rights of adults over children, so that Police Officers are not afraid to grab hold of yobs by the scruffs of their necks for fear of 'assault' allegations, Teachers can know that they will not fall under suspicion for daring to touch a child, however necessary or appropriate, and adults can demand more respect from children and young people in the street and the home. Children and young people should be subjected to reinforcement of the simple lesson that rights and respect must be earned, not just demanded or expected.
