Scottish Independence Referendum - Separation Agreement

Additional Information

Scotland already has its own Parliament, England does not. In the event of a yes vote, the terms of separation need to have due regard for English interests. As there will be no English Parliament to conduct the negotiations this petition asks the UK government to adhere to these parameters:-

Negotiations not be conducted by any Minister, M.P , or civil servant of Scottish parentage:

No currency union. No Scottish representation in the sterling central bank.

No subsidies of Scottish wind farms by taxpayers or consumers:

No further warship contracts for Scottish yards;

No shared state broadcaster;

No shared embassies;

No shared Post Office (so no English subsidy for Scottish deliveries);

No open border or common travel area;

No dual nationality option;

No government employment or elected office for those opting for Scottish nationality ;

All defence resources to be withdrawn from Scotland .

In short no "best of both worlds".
