Petition Action

Sentencing for homophobic hate crime

Additional Information

In light of the recent release of a 56 year old man with a police caution following his arrest by British Transport Police officers for a homophobic attack on two Manchester residents in the early hours of Monday 5th November, we call for an investigation in to why the decision to give only a caution was made and for the home secretary to give a statement on the government's stance and opinion on sentencing for homophobic hate crimes.
