Sentencing Reform For Violent Crime & Allowing the Victims of violent crime and their familes to determine what the resulting sentence should be.

Additional Information

Why are guilty violent offenders allowed out of prison without serving their judge assigned sentences?

With particular reference to mindless non provoked acts of violence where knifes are so commonly used in the UK today, if the Death Penalty debate is refused then at at the very least our judicial system should be given a 'Real Deterrent' and should be enshrined in both law and the psyche of those that would even contemplate such an act.

Let the perpetrator clearly understand that not only will they face a statute based sentence of detention that must be served in full but added to that will be an addition as provided by the victim and in the worst case of murder the victims family.

'Deterrent, Deterrent, Deterrent' should be the uppermost thought in those that have responsibility for formulating sentencing law.
