Small Wind Turbines - distance from dwellings.
We petition the Government to have a minimum distance of 1000 metres between small wind turbines and dwellings.
At the present time legislation states:
"If the height of the wind turbine generator is greater than 25m, but does not exceed 50m, the minimum distance requirement is 1000m"
Manufacturers of turbines now make them just 20cm short of 25 metres!
