Speed limit for vans on dual carriageways to be increased to 70mph.

Petition Details

Car derived vans and van derived motor homes and so called sport vans can drive at 70 mph on dual carriageways yet vans such as Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinters are restricted to 60mph. This is endorsable by 3 penalty points and a fine. For what reason?

Additional Information

An old man who drives his van derived motor home occasionally can drive at 70 whilst a professional driver doing a purpose built vehicle becomes a target for traffic police and speed cameras.
