This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK has not yet left the EU. In any case, the smoking ban does not come from EU law. The smoking ban comes from the Health Act 2006, which you can read here:

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/28/pdfs/ukpga_20060028_en.pdf

If you would like the law to be changed to allow for separate smoking rooms, you might like to sign this petition:

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/119343

Otherwise, you could start a new petition explaining clearly how you would like existing UK law to be changed.
